After touring the whole island, I think Maison Rose's location is absolutely ideal. It's close enough to excellent restaurants and stores to make everything convenient, but situated as it is on relatively undeveloped Toiny Bay, it made us feel we were truly getting away from it all, communing with St. Barts' natural beauty. While other parts of the island are buzzing with people and cars, Toiny seems almost rural.

My stay at Maison Rose was one of the most peaceful and serene that I have ever experienced on a vacation getaway. I thoroughly enjoyed lounging on the terrace watching the waves crash on to beach. While the privacy at Maison Rose made me feel like I had St. Barts all to myself, the short drive to Gustavia provided ample opportunity to socialize, shop and dine. It is truly a place I will visit again!
